Dr. Shubhender Kapila, professor of chemistry, recently received the 1906 Award from the International Electrotechnical Commission for his contributions to standardization of fluids for electrotechnology applications. The 1906 Award commemorates the founding of the IEC and honors those who have made exceptional recent technical contributions to a specific IEC project.
