eConnection returns to regular schedule

Starting next week, the faculty and staff eConnection will return to its regular schedule of Monday and Thursday morning distribution. Submission deadlines are 3 p.m. the day before they are published. The eConnection will maintain this schedule until after the end of the semester. Continue to submit your campus news to the eConnection, student-based announcements to the student eConnection and remember to submit campus events to the campus calendar.

Gold Miners to hold dance camp Jan. 23

Friday, Jan. 15, is the deadline for girls in grades K-7 to register for the annual S&T Gold Miner Dance Team kid’s camp. Camp will be held 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23. Alpha Sigma Mu calendar fundraiser

The S&T chapter of Alpha Sigma Mu is selling 2016 calendars featuring scanning electron microscope and optical microscope images taken by students and faculty from the materials science and engineering department. Calendars are $15 each and checks can be made out to “Alpha Sigma Mu.” All proceeds will benefit the chapter and support activities within the department. Email Liz Burns to order calendars.
