Engineering Management Building to close at 5 p.m. again today

Due to a safety issue, the Engineering Management Building will be locked at 5 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 5). University Police asks all faculty, staff and students to leave the building by 5 p.m. The building will be open as usual by 7:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6.

Passing of Dr. A. Glen Haddock

Dr. A. Glen Haddock, former chair of mathematics and statistics at S&T, died July 2. He was 86. Haddock joined the university in 1966 and served as a professor and chair of mathematics and statistics, interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and interim vice chancellor for academic affairs at S&T.

Monthly billing model introduced for IT telecom services

IT telecom billing is changing from yearly to monthly billing. Starting with the April 2021 statement, all newly added recurring charges will be processed a month at a time. For example, if a new employee started and requires a new phone to be setup for the department, it will start to appear on the April 2021 statement.
