Educational Technology is now accepting presentation proposals for the seventh annual Teaching and Learning Technology Conference, scheduled for March 13-14. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Rebecca Brent, president of Education Designs Inc.

The last Safe Space and Ally Training event of the fall semester will be held in a two-part session from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15 in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center. The event is sponsored by leadership and cultural programs. You can help create a more inclusive S&T by learning more about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender ( LGBT) community.

The south side of Area X, Lot 20, located at the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building, will be closed starting today, Monday, Oct. 14, and lasting through Thursday, Oct. 17, for asphalt replacement. Vehicles in the designated section Monday morning may be subject to towing.

Faculty, students and alumni of Missouri S&T’s civil, architectural and environmental engineering department met at Sunset Hills Country Club near St. Louis on Thursday, Oct. 10, to roll out the department’s new strategic plan.
