Mechanical and aerospace engineering is starting off its Centennial Seminar Series with a lecture from Dr. Robert M. Wagner, director of the Fuels, Engines and Emissions Research Center at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The seminar will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, in Room 140 Toomey Hall. His lecture is titled “Directions in High Efficiency Research and Future Fuel Opportunities.” This seminar is open to all students, faculty and staff who are interested.

Missouri S&T recently launched Rave Guardian, a free mobile app that turns your smartphone into a personal safety device. By downloading Rave Guardian on your mobile device, you can invite friends and family to join your network as your “Guardians.” Once you have established who you want to be your Guardians, you can request one or more of them to virtually walk with you on or off campus.
