United Way campaign

This year’s United Way campaign will end soon. Campus faculty, staff and retirees play a big role in Missouri S&T’s United Way campaign. Campus contributions were approximately 75 percent of last years’ total contributions and the current campaign is running behind compared to last year. There is still time to donate and help the 20 local, non-profit agencies. You can even designate which agency will receive your donation. Two week hot water outage in Schrenk

Staff Day shirts for sale

Staff Day shirts are now available. The T-shirts can be seen and ordered through the staff council website. Orders should be placed by May 19. Shirts cost $10, $12 for XXL or XXXL sizes. Testing Center finals scheduling

Faculty should be aware that the Testing Center is quickly filling to capacity for finals week. Any students or faculty requiring alternate test times, make-up exams or other testing arrangements should contact the Testing Center immediately to schedule dates and times or it may not be able to accommodate students.

Kindergarten Day at S&T

The Residence Hall Association will host a finals stress-relief program called “A Throwback Thursday to Kindergarten” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in the Quad Courtyard. This program will have four stations to help students reconnect with their inner child: paint-filled balloon throwing, finger-painting, graffiti art and “make your own goop.” There will also be bubbles for students to play with. Students can get their hands dirty, play with paint and release that kid lying dormant inside them.
