Congratulations to Missouri S&T’s Gold Mine Rescue Team, which placed fourth overall in the Southern Regional Mine Rescue Competition that was held May 6-8 in New Iberia, La. Twelve teams participated. S&T’s black team took third in first aid and the benching team (Robert Florich and Eric Wesel) took first. A list of team members is available here.

Staff Council is seeking donations for the Staff Day Food Auction. Dinner items, as well as baked goods (store bought, homemade or gift certificates) are welcome. Food donations will need to be dropped off between 7:30-8:30 a.m. the morning of Staff Day, Wednesday, May 28, at the Havener Center’s loading dock.
