Four PRO sessions in June

Missouri S&T will host four Preview, Registration and Orientation (PRO) sessions in June. Help welcome new students and their guests to the Missouri S&T campus on: Friday, June 6; Monday, June 9; Friday, June 13; and Friday, June 20. There will also be a PRO session on Saturday, Aug. 16. PRO is an all-day orientation program for new students who plan to start classes at Missouri S&T in the fall 2014 semester. PRO Resource Fairs will be held from 12:30-3 p.m. in the Havener Center in June. If your department or organization would like to participate in the Resource Fair in June, contact Patty Frisbee, 341-7045, for more information.

Get new students involved in your organization, department or program. Insert an electronic flyer on the “Plug Into The Green Movement” flash drive for new freshmen and transfer students. The deadline to be included is Saturday, June 1. These flash drives will be distributed to new students during Opening Week. Association of the U.S. Army BBQ

The campus community, as well as members of the general public, are asked to join the local Association of the U.S. Army for a barbeque starting at 6 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Veterans Memorial Park, located on Southview Drive in Rolla. The event will include a live performance from the local 399th Army Band, brief talks from military brass and local officials, and networking opportunities. Ten dollar tickets are available in advance from Steven Tupper in the office of sponsored programs or the Rolla and St James Chambers of Commerce. There will also be admission at the event.
