The student financial assistance (SFA) office has made changes to its services. Students can now stop by and speak to a financial aid counselor during walk-in hours from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Jane O’Keefe, wife of the late Dr. Thomas O’Keefe, Curators’ Professor of metallurgical engineering, died on Wednesday, Jan. 7. A visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at James and Gahr Mortuary of Rolla. A funeral mass is planned for 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rolla. Dr. Bassem Armaly, Curators’ Professor emeritus of mechanical and aerospace engineering and former chair of the mechanical and aerospace engineering department, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, at age 77. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of James and Gahr Mortuary.
