The 11th annual Missouri S&T Undergraduate Research Conference will be held Wednesday, April 15, in the Havener Center second floor atrium. This event provides opportunities for students to showcase their research efforts to the campus community and to the public. The registration deadline for students to present is March 9. Registration materials are available online.

Take 20 minutes out of your day to check your health. A health screening helps you understand your risk for conditions such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Plus, as part of the 2015 Wellness Incentive, it helps eligible faculty and staff earn $450. Sign up by logging into the Wellness Portal, hosted by Cerner, and clicking on Campus Screenings.

MinerBytes users and content authors are invited to come together to share ideas and lunch. Join the MinerBytes community at noon Wednesday, March 4, in Room 106 Curtis Laws Wilson Library and help build the community. New users are encouraged to attend and pick up some useful tricks, while established users are invited to share their experiences. Lunch is provided but seating is limited. Read More »Study abroad at UWC this fall
The University of Missouri System, through the UM South African Education Program Committee (UMSAEP), awards Henry Mitchell Scholarships each year in the amount of $2,000 to four UM students, one from each UM campus, to study at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. The system also funds up to two University of the Western Cape students to study at UM campuses. Apply for the scholarship by Sunday, March 1. For more information on how to apply, contact the study abroad advisor at menands@mst.edu or visit the study abroad offices in Room 104 Norwood Hall.
