On Saturday, April 25, a massive earthquake struck Nepal, devastating the country. Join Nepalese students and community members at a candlelight vigil, which will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, on the Havener Center Lawn, to remember the victims of this tragedy and show support for the community.

The Student Union Board (SUB) concert will present Saving Abel with special guests Soundtrapp and Minus Me on Tuesday, May 5. This event is free for students and the public and will be held outside the Engineering Management Building on the University Promenade in front of the Havener Center.

Support the victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal by donating to their cause. A donation booth will be set up 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, and Friday, May 1, in front of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. One hundred percent of the money collected will be donated to the victims of this natural disaster.

Faculty First Fridays continue on Friday, May 1. Attendees can network and share ideas with fellow faculty and university administration. The brown bag lunch will be held noon-1 p.m. in Hasselmann Alumni House. Participants should bring their own lunch, and the chancellor’s office will provide drinks (iced tea, water and coffee) and desserts.
