Public health announcement

A student at Rolla Middle School is being treated for meningococcal meningitis. Rolla Public School district officials are working with the Missouri Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the school district’s nursing department to identify and contact students and parents who may have been in close contact with the sixth-grader and therefore at the greatest risk of exposure. ACS and SciFinder refresher
