S&T commencement speakers announced

Approximately 700 Missouri S&T students will be awarded degrees during three upcoming commencement ceremonies Friday, Dec. 19, and Saturday, Dec. 20. Dr. Steven Jung, chief commercial officer of Mo-Sci Corp., will speak at the Dec. 19 ceremony for Ph.D. and master’s degree graduates. Dr. Gregory M. Polites, executive vice dean and interim head of biomedical and translational sciences for the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, will speak at both Dec. 20 ceremonies for bachelor’s degree candidates.

Parking ticket amnesty day set for Dec. 16

Parking and transportation services will host a campus parking citation amnesty day 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the parking and transportation services office. In exchange for a $10 cash donation, the department will void up to two qualifying unpaid S&T parking tickets per person.
