U.S. News again ranks Missouri S&T as state’s top public engineering school

U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 rankings for Best Colleges were released Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Missouri S&T remains the top public engineering school for the state.
Missouri S&T remains a top 50 public engineering school, coming in at No. 37, an improvement of five spots from 2026. This ranking is for undergraduate engineering programs at schools that offer degrees up to the doctoral level.
