Missouri S&T is launching a new community movie night series called S&T Movies on the Green, with the first screening scheduled Thursday, Oct. 29, on the oval green in the Havener Arrival Complex.

Community members, students and families are invited to a Throwback Thursday screening of the 1993 classic Hocus Pocus.

Food trucks will be set up in the vehicle drop-off area in front of the parking garage.

Activities hosted by the Kummer Center for STEM Education and other S&T groups will run 6-7 p.m. on the oval green near the food trucks. Attendees can enjoy the activities and purchase food before setting up their chairs and blankets for the movie, which begins at 7 p.m.

Admission is free. Attendees may park at no cost in Lot H, or in other S&T lots during the event. Paid parking also will be available in the underground parking garage. For more information, email Dr. Greg Edwards, director of community outreach and engagement.
