Dr. Martin Bohner, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of mathematics and statistics, attended three international conferences this summer in honor of his 60th birthday and recognition of his contributions to mathematics and time-scale theory.
The events included the Workshop on Dynamic Equations on Time Scales, Difference Equations and Applications in Mathematical Biology at the University of Campinas in Brazil in May; APPLMATH2026 in Messina, Italy, in June; and ATA2026: Analysis, Topology and Applications in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, in July. Researchers from around the world gathered at the events to present work connected to Bohner’s areas of scholarship and celebrate his career.
