Margret Grebowicz, Maxwell C. Weiner Distinguished Professor of the Humanities, professor of philosophy and director of the Public Scholars Network, has published two essays: “Big Bend Wall Threatens Local Way of Life” in Sierra and “The Border Sublime” in The Montréal Review.
The essays examine the cultural, environmental and philosophical dimensions of border wall construction in the American Southwest, including its effects on local communities and public lands.
