Bring unused medications to National Take Back Day event

Student well-being and University Police will host a prescription drug take-back event 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in the Havener Center atrium as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Take Back Day.
Participants may safely dispose of expired or unused medications and learn about local prescription drug drop-box locations, bottle-locking caps and medication deactivation bags.
A permanent prescription drug disposal box is available 24/7 inside the University Police station at 205 W. 12th St. in Rolla.
