Dr. Shelley Minteer, the Dr. Ken Robertson Memorial Professor of chemistry and director of the Kummer Institute Center for Resource Sustainability, will present the 11th annual Stoffer Lecture at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in Room B-10 Bertelsmeyer Hall.
Minteer will present “Transitioning Bioelectrocatalysis from Sensors to Energy Conversion and Electrification of the Chemical Industry.” Her research focuses on energy storage and conversion and the electrification of chemical manufacturing.
The lecture series honors Dr. James O. Stoffer, Curators’ Distinguished Professor emeritus of chemistry, whose contributions helped establish Missouri S&T’s nationally recognized polymer chemistry program.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
