National Recovery Month is observed each September to raise awareness about mental health and substance use recovery.

September is National Recovery Month. Missouri S&T’s student well-being team is offering “Recovery Is Possible” T-shirts, while supplies last, to students, faculty and staff who complete the 30-minute Collegiate Recovery Ally Training.

The training helps participants better understand recovery and learn ways to support students, colleagues and community members. Once completed, send your completion certificate and shirt size by email to Cody Bennett, health educator for student well-being. Shirts may be picked up in Room G2 Parker Hall.

Students seeking support can participate in Miners for Recovery, a counselor-led support group. Faculty, staff and community members may connect with Miners Recovery Fellowship.
