Lonergan named to endowed chair in glass science

Dr. Charmayne Lonergan has been named the inaugural Richard K. Brow Chair of Glass Science at Missouri S&T. The appointment begins today, Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Lonergan is currently a Robert and Roberta G. Couch Endowed Assistant Professor in the materials science and engineering department. She earned a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering with a focus on glass science from Missouri S&T in 2014 and joined the university’s faculty in 2023.
