Interested in applying for sabbatical leave? Attend an information session and panel discussion led by Dr. Kate Drowne, associate provost for faculty affairs, noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in Room G-11, the Teaching and Learning Center’s faculty development studio, in Curtis Laws Wilson Library.

According to the University of Missouri System’s Collected Rules and Regulations, CRR 340.070, “Tenured faculty members are eligible to apply for a sabbatical leave after six or more years of service and can reapply for subsequent sabbatical leaves six years after the prior sabbatical leave. Sabbatical leaves may be taken for a period up to a full year. A faculty member on sabbatical leave will receive up to one-half of their regular annual salary. Additional travel funds and leave related expenses may be provided as deemed appropriate.”

Applications for 2027-28 sabbatical leaves are due to colleges in December. Faculty interested in applying are encouraged to attend. A light lunch will be provided.

Register online. For more information, email Drowne at kdrowne@mst.edu.
