Karslake awarded grant to expand startup resources

A new startup incubator at Missouri S&T will provide entrepreneurs with affordable office and lab space with access to technology and resources, thanks to a grant from the Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC).
Dr. Christine Karslake, associate vice chancellor of innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization, has been awarded the MTC 2026 Physical Infrastructure Grant Program for $325,945.
Karslake says the grant money will be used to support the startup community for S&T and the Rolla community with new office and lab spaces at S&T’s Applied Research Center, which is set to be complete in February 2027.
