Attend Kummer Day on Oct. 7

Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to attend Kummer Day Wednesday, Oct. 7. The event will highlight student success, research and entrepreneurship while recognizing the impact of the transformative gift from Fred and June Kummer.
Presentations by Kummer Innovation and Entrepreneurship Doctoral Fellows will be held 10-11:30 a.m. and 2-3:30 p.m. in the Missouri and Meramec rooms of the Havener Center. Fellows will share their research and innovation projects.
A student panel discussion, “Exploring Your Entrepreneurial Journey,” will be held 4-5 p.m. in St. Pat’s Ballroom A and B of the Havener Center. Student entrepreneurs will share insights from their startup ventures, discuss lessons learned and reflect on their experiences building successful businesses.
The day will conclude with a reception 5-6 p.m. in St. Pat’s Ballroom A and B to recognize the impact of the Kummer gift and celebrate the achievements of Missouri S&T and the Kummer Institute.
