Madria receives IEEE award

Dr. Sanjay Madria, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of computer science, received the 2026 IEEE Mobile Data Management Distinguished Contributor Award at the 27th annual IEEE International Conference on Mobile Data Management, held June 29-July 2 in Athens, Greece. The honor recognizes his long-term contributions to mobile data management research and service to the international mobile data management community. The award acknowledges nearly three decades of leadership and scholarship in the field.
