S&T photographers earn national recognition

Missouri S&T photographers Michael Pierce and Zach Beers earned multiple honors at the University Photographers’ Association of America (UPAA) Symposium, held June 22-26 at the University of Michigan.
Pierce, senior university photographer, received five awards in the professional competition, including first-, second- and third-place finishes across multiple categories. He was also named third place for University Photographer of the Year.
Beers, student photographer, earned multiple awards in the student and associate competition, including third-, fourth- and fifth-place finishes. He was also named second place for Student Photographer of the Year.
