Memorial services set for Dr. Chen Hou

Missouri S&T is saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Chen Hou, a retired faculty member in biological sciences. He died Friday, June 5, at age 50.
Hou joined biological sciences as an assistant professor in 2011 and retired as an associate professor in 2025.
A memorial service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, at Mount Zion Cemetery, 17934 State Highway Y in Jamestown, Missouri. A lunch reception and visitation will follow from noon to 2 p.m. at the Jamestown Mercantile, 102 W. Row St. in Jamestown.
