On April 3, six Missouri S&T students traveled to St. Louis to participate in the Webster University Philosophy Student Conference.

Derek Furniss, a junior in mechanical engineering, Quinten Milligan, a senior in civil engineering, and Di Guetersloh, a senior in environmental science, presented papers written for courses including engineering ethics and environmental ethics. Kennedy Bowman, a sophomore in biological sciences, William McNulty, a junior in philosophy, and Adam Wiedemeier, a senior in philosophy, participated in audience discussions.

The group was accompanied by Dr. Margret Grebowicz, the Maxwell C. Weiner Distinguished Professor of Humanities in arts, languages, and philosophy.
