Beat the rush: Submit new asset requests for 2026-27

Faculty are encouraged to submit new asset requests now for hardware or software needed for the 2026-27 academic year.

Requests and guidance are available through the S&T IT Client Portal. Requests for pre‑approved hardware or software should be submitted as a Help Desk ticket.

Those planning to use grant or specialized campus funding and apply expenses to fiscal year 2026 should make sure purchases align with required deadlines. Refer to the fiscal year closing schedule for details.

New hardware requests may require:

  • Vendor quote
  • Product website link
  • Configuration details
  • Software dependencies
  • Vendor or entity approval list, if applicable.

New software requests may require

  • HECVAT version 4.0 or higher
  • Agreements or contracts for university review
  • Product website link
  • Vendor quote
  • VPAT, if available.
