Westenberg earns Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

Dr. David Westenberg, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor of biological sciences, has received a Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

The Governor’s Award is presented annually to one outstanding faculty member from each University of Missouri System institution. Recipients are selected based on effective teaching, commitment to high standards of excellence, sustained success in supporting student achievement, and innovation in education.

Westenberg will be recognized at the University of Missouri System Board of Curators meeting in June.
