The Missouri S&T information technology team continues to enhance the university network infrastructure and has planned a campuswide network upgrade 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11, through midnight Sunday, April 12.
The upgrade supports the university’s ongoing network modernization efforts to improve security, reliability and support for research and safety systems.
During the upgrade, campus buildings will experience temporary interruptions to all network services, including internet access, phones, access systems and alarms. Work will occur on a rolling, building-by-building schedule to reduce disruption.

What to expect
Network services will be periodically unavailable during the upgrade. Researchers and lab staff should pause or secure experiments and monitoring systems in advance. IT staff will monitor progress and restore service as quickly as possible.
