Missouri S&T will host a free screening of The Nuclear Frontier, a documentary focused on the future of nuclear energy, 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in the Innovation Lab Forum.
The Nuclear Frontier premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., in 2025, and explores efforts to expand nuclear power in the United States as energy demand continues to grow. Some of its key topics include energy security, the role of nuclear power in providing reliable, carbon-free electricity, and the policy and industry challenges involved in scaling new reactor technologies.
The free event, which will be hosted by Missouri S&T’s nuclear engineering and radiation science department, will include a panel discussion with industry experts and a reception following the film.
