Leaders from Idaho National Laboratory (INL) will visit Missouri S&T on Tuesday, April 7, for a day of student engagement, research showcases and a special agreement signing ceremony.
All students, faculty and staff are invited to participate.
Space is limited for some activities. Submitting an RSVP does not guarantee participation. Confirmations will be communicated to selected participants.
Events include:
Student poster presentations: 9:15-10:15 a.m. in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center
- INL seeks student presenters from all disciplines to showcase research to laboratory leaders. Students must provide their own poster, sized to fit a 36-inch by 48-inch corkboard.
- Up to 25 presenters will be selected.
- RSVP by April 1 to be considered as a presenter.
Rapid-fire lightning talks: Innovations in minutes: 10:30-11:45 a.m. in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center
- Faculty and students from all disciplines are invited to deliver one to five-minute lightning style presentations highlighting innovative ideas, research concepts or emerging projects. Slides are optional.
- Submitting an RSVP does not guarantee a presentation slot.
- RSVP by April 1 to be considered as a presenter.
SUPER agreement signing ceremony and networking lunch: noon-1:15 p.m. in the Innovation Lab Forum
- Missouri S&T and INL leaders will share remarks, provide an overview of the Strategic Understanding for Premier Education and Research (SUPER) agreement and participate in a networking lunch. The event highlights a growing partnership focused on advancing research and expanding opportunities for Missouri S&T students and faculty.
- Lunch is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited.
