Work will begin at 6 a.m., and power is expected to be fully restored by 7:30 a.m. Buildings will lose power sequentially, and no individual building is expected to be without service for more than 30 minutes.

Buildings affected:

  • Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall
  • Centennial Hall
  • Chancellor’s Residence
  • Computer Science Building
  • Curtis Laws Wilson Library
  • Harris Hall
  • Humanities and Social Sciences Building
  • Interdisciplinary Engineering Building
  • Missouri S&T Nuclear Reactor
  • Norwood Hall
  • Parker Hall
  • Physics Building
  • Rolla Building
  • Schrenk Hall
  • Toomey Hall
  • Welcome Center.

Facilities staff will monitor the transition to minimize disruptions and ensure a safe restoration of service. For more information, email facilities operations.

A previously announced all-day power outage in Curtis Laws Wilson Library, Straumanis-James Hall and the Computer Science Building originally scheduled for March 12 has been postponed. That outage is now planned for Tuesday, March 24.
