The assistant directors of business administration, in collaboration with information technology and human resources, are excited to share that new offboarding resources are available to the campus community. The team has worked to design a consistent, campus‑wide offboarding process that reduces risk, streamlines communication, prevents security gaps and aligns HR, IT, access control, finance and departments around a unified framework for all employee departures (separations and transfers).
A new offboarding tile has been added to the human resources website, giving easy access to four key resources designed to support both transitioning employees and their department processors:
What’s new in the offboarding experience?
The team made several improvements, including developing a comprehensive S&T-focused framework to make the onboarding process more consistent and timely across campus. New checklists, communications and workflows were created. To further streamline the process, an offboarding IT ticket was created.
