Faculty are encouraged to submit their recent professional achievements to Missouri S&T’s monthly Accomplishments newsletter at go.mst.edu/accomplishments. New features in the submission form are designed to help elevate faculty work to broader audiences through external communication channels.

The updates are part of a collaboration between Dr. Grace Yan, the Faculty Success program and the S&T marketing and communications team. The revised process will allow select accomplishments to be shared on the university’s LinkedIn account and other platforms.

New features include:

• Option for external promotion. A checkbox allows faculty to consent to having their accomplishments considered for social media outreach.
• Additional storytelling fields. Submitters can now include context, verification links and photos to support and highlight the significance of their work.

Sharing accomplishments helps showcase the research, teaching and service taking place at S&T. It strengthens the university’s reputation among peers and industry partners and supports efforts to attract prospective students, faculty and collaborators.
