Missouri S&T Dining Services is seeking support from student organizations for the Cancer Gala, scheduled for 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Havener Center. The gala is the largest catering event of the year. Due to unexpected staffing shortages, Dining Services is offering a paid fundraising opportunity for student groups interested in assisting.

Dining Services is looking for 10–12 students to help serve dinner to guests, clear and collect plates, and assist with post-event clean-up. Student organizations will receive $125 per participating student, with payment made directly to the respective organization. This provides a meaningful and efficient way to raise funds while supporting a significant campus event.

Participants should wear black dress pants and a black button-up shirt or black blouse. Black long-sleeve button-up shirts can be provided if sizes are submitted by Thursday.
