Have a technology you want to commercialize? Curious about entrepreneurship? Ever consider creating a start-up team?
If so, you are invited to join a free National Science Foundation I-Corps Awareness Workshop noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Room 140 Toomey Hall. Lunch will be provided. RSVP by Friday, Jan. 30.
Through NSF I-Corps, teams of scientists, engineers and researchers work to understand the potential value of their technology and inventions in the marketplace.
The workshop will focus on local, regional and national opportunities to help faculty, researchers, students and entrepreneurs learn about launching a business. You’ll also learn about the upcoming local program, “Innovation to Impact: Missouri University of Science and Technology I-Corps™,” which begins Wednesday, Feb. 25.
