Getting ready for the career fair? Missouri S&T offers free tools, advising and workshops to help you polish your resume, practice interviews and feel confident meeting employers. Check out this resource round-up to help you get hired, Miner!

Resources:

  • BigInterview: Get AI-powered resume feedback and practice common interview questions.
  • Jobscan: Check how well your resume matches applicant tracking systems and job descriptions.
  • Rezify: Search for internships based on the skills and experience on your resume.
  • CareerForge: Missouri S&T’s career platform for career & recruiting events; co-op & internship registration; job postings; and employer profiles. Log in using your mst.edu email.
  • COER advising: Stop by for walk-in help or schedule an appointment for resume reviews and mock interviews.
  • Career Closet: Need professional attire? The Career Closet provides free clothing for interviews, networking events and career fairs from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday-Friday in Norwood Hall, third floor. Each year, about 500 students use the Career Closet to reduce financial barriers to professional opportunities.
  • Focus2 Career Portal – use access code “miner”: Explore majors and career paths based on your interests, values and personality. We recommend taking the following assessments: Work Interest, Values, Personality and Skills.
