Wang receives Stefan Westerhoff Award for contributions to HAWC Collaboration

Dr. Xiaojie Wang, assistant professor of physics, received the Stefan Westerhoff Award at the fall High-Altitude Water Cherenkov Observatory (HAWC) Collaboration meeting. The award recognizes contributions that have significantly impacted HAWC’s operations, performance, data analysis and science interpretation.

HAWC is an international project that studies cosmic rays and gamma rays to better understand high-energy processes in the universe.
