University Police thank campus for supporting Cops Care

University Police officers and a cardboard cutout of Chief Roberts present an oversized check to Phelps County Sheriff Mike Kirn for the 2025 Shop with a Cop program.
University Police thanks the campus community for its generosity in supporting this year’s Cops Care – Shop with a Cop program. Fundraising efforts raised $5,773, enough to sponsor 46 children, setting a new record for campus contributions.
Shopping events were held Wednesday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Rolla Walmart, where officers escorted children as they shopped for holiday gifts. Santa also attended and visited with children and officers.
Shop with a Cop is managed by the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, and all local, state and federal agencies from Phelps County participate.
