The GUIDE app, developed by S&T’s business intelligence team, launched Nov. 21. The app is designed to reduce manual administrative work, streamline processes and provide easier access to resources for faculty and staff.
In this initial phase, GUIDE will serve as a proposal intake form for research and innovation. Faculty should use the form to notify the pre-award administration team of upcoming proposals instead of emailing administrators.
A soft launch began in November to allow users to become familiar with the system. Full implementation starts Jan. 1, and beginning in 2026, all proposals must start with the intake form in GUIDE.
Access the app through the sponsored programs website under the submitting a proposal option or via the app of apps tab on the business intelligence website.
