Dr. Shane Epting, associate professor of philosophy, presented “Ethics in Transportation Innovation: The Case of Neighborhood Electric Vehicles and Municipal Partnerships” at the Philosophy of the City Conference in October in Busan, South Korea. He also gave two invited talks in Taiwan: “Knowledge, Values, and Moral Prioritization in Sustainable Urban Planning” at National Taiwan University and “The Problem of Moral Prioritization in Sustainability Management” at National Taiwan Normal University.
