Donate food at Miner basketball games

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting a food drive to benefit the Friday Backpack program through Hope Alliance of Missouri, which provides kid-friendly meals to students in the Rolla School District.
Bring nonperishable, individually packaged items to Gibson Arena during these games:
- 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, during the Miner men’s basketball game vs. Westminister College
- 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, during the Miner women’s basketball game vs. Ecclesia College.
A surprise gift will be given for every two items donated. Suggested items include single-serve macaroni and cheese, canned pasta or soup (pull-top preferred), granola bars, oatmeal packets, fruit cups, applesauce and cracker packs. Items must be within expiration date, non-glass and easy for kids to open.
