Chi Epsilon honors society celebrates fall class of 2025

The S&T chapter of Chi Epsilon, the national civil engineering honor society, welcomed new members during its fall 2025 initiation ceremonies. Congratulations to the newest initiates and chapter honor member Steve Sieckhaus, president of Clayco in St. Louis. Sieckhaus joins the chapter’s honor roll of distinguished members.

Faculty initiates:

  • Dr. S. Jae Choi, assistant teaching professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
  • Dr. Emad Hassan, assistant professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
  • Dr. Karan Venayagamoorthy, Fred and June Kummer Endowed Department Chair and professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering.

Student initiates:

  • Erin Bauer, a sophomore in civil engineering
  • Katrina Boyster, a junior in civil engineering
  • Emma Caminiti, a sophomore in civil engineering
  • Alexandrea René Dunn, a sophomore in environmental engineering
