Student well-being is offering three sessions of a University of Missouri System-licensed program called RESPOND to train faculty and staff to recognize and provide initial assistance to people with mental health concerns. The sessions will be offered 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, and 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Participants will learn to recognize when someone may be struggling or in distress, increase their awareness of mental health resources, and help prevent suicide. This training is open to all faculty and staff.
