Mochalin publishes research on MXenes

Dr. Vadym Mochalin, professor of chemistry, co-authored a study titled “Defect-Driven Degradation of MXenes in Aqueous Environments and Mitigation Strategies: Insights from First-Principles” in the American Chemical Society journal ACS Nano. The research was supported by the National Science Foundation through a collaborative Designing Materials to Revolutionize and Engineer. Our Future project focused on computationally driven discovery and synthesis of two-dimensional materials.
