
Learn how to communicate effectively with artificial intelligence during the Prompt Engineering Workshop: Mastering the Art of Talking to AI. The session will be held 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Room 140 Toomey Hall. Dr. Suman Maity, assistant professor of computer science, will lead the workshop.
This hands-on workshop will teach participants how to craft prompts that lead to accurate and useful responses from large language models. Attendees will explore techniques such as few-shot and zero-shot prompting, chain of thought for step-by-step reasoning, program of thought for structured computational reasoning and tree of thought for exploring multiple reasoning paths.
