Philanthropy begins with a simple connection.

National Philanthropy Day on Saturday, Nov. 15, is a time to honor the power of giving and the generosity that transforms lives. Every gift starts with someone who believes in Missouri S&T — often sparked by a conversation with an alumnus, industry partner or community member who recognizes the impact of university work.

To help turn those moments into lasting partnerships, University Advancement offers “You’ve Made a Connection, Now What?” — a quick, practical guide for sharing meaningful interactions. Passing along these connections strengthens relationships, creates opportunities for students and grows resources that support teaching and research.

Explore the guide and other tools through advancement’s online resources, and join in celebrating the generosity that begins with one connection.
