
Jeremy Jaycox is a research engineering technician for mechanical and aerospace engineering. He joined Missouri S&T in May 2024.
Can you share your professional background?
I graduated from Steelville High School. I’ve been a machinist for over 10 years and was a heavy equipment operator.
What do you most enjoy about working at Missouri S&T?
I enjoy interacting with students and seeing them learn new things.
What advice would you have for a new staff member?
Be ready to see some cool things. Watch out for all the lasers. Everyone seems to like lasers.
What is something people may be surprised to learn about you?
I love playing golf with my wife when we have time. I say I’m a little bit better, but she disagrees.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Super speed. Who wouldn’t want to go anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye?
